Yesterday I went to the range and took my .45/.410 derringer a small single barrelled weapon not the American Arms or Bond derringer , but a little derringer I purchased once at a gun show , I shot the weapon with a couple of #7 two and ...American Derringer Corp. over/under tip-up two-shot pistol, .38 Spec. cal., nickel finish, faux ivory grips, #73666. Gun is in overall fine condition showing little use, approx. 99% nickel finish remaining, fine bores, crisp action and markings, fine grips with ornamented colored long .... I state this because I have the ORIGINAL rental agreement and Armorers contract for the Bond guns and the serial numbers that were shown in the catalog were not on the sheets I have. ...But these artful machines... are American. But a comment: You've probably realized that ... The model I have is the SmakeSlayer IV. Both are beautiful guns, and the Taurus will certainly get attention if you wear it on your hip. Now the Bond Arms derringers are nearly a pound and a half, so it might be different from them. But I have a Cobra in .38 Spec and the recoil is stiff.
