What do you think of this trade? DeSean Jackson is the #1 WR in FF but he is up and down and relies on the big play and sometimes only gets 2 or 3 completions.

Here is my current team:

QB1 Kurt Warner
RB1 Thomas Jones
RB2 Ronnie Brown
RB/WR Ricky Williams
WR1 Marques Colston
WR2 DeSean Jackson
TE Heath Miller
D/ST Broncos
K Mason Crosby

Bench: McNabb, Houshamazilly, Colts D/ST, Shonn Greene, Michael Crabtree, Donald Lee, Jamaal Charles
When I say that DeSean Jackson is the #1 WR in FF, I say that from a points standpoint only in a non-PPR league.

I have to run with either Frank Gore vs IND or Greg Jennings vs MINN. Now most woulld think well yeah jennings because the CB Winfield for MINN might not play and the Colts may jump out to a big lead early against SF.

But Jennings has just been lousy for me and I know people keep saying oh his week will come, but last time they played Aaaron Rodgers looked terrified to look over to his left and throw the ball because of Jared Allen, and Jennings does line up on the left side of the field so I don't know. Who thinks they can answer this one? Expierenced Fantasy Football Players advice both preferred and appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

I'm about to make a friendly bet with a guy on the Colts Vs Texans game on 11/08/09; Week 9 for all you die hard football fans. Any betting suggestions? I know i'm going to win (GO COLTS) but i want a sports bet where we both wins

1.Indianapolis Colts- maybe looking like they best team theyve had and even better than their Super Bowl team. We already know what this offense can do but this year rank #2 in the League in Defense(PPG allowed). If they're defense continues to play well it will be scary for other teams.

2.New Orleans Saints-showed incredible resilliance to comeback down by 21 on the road. This team is for real and clearly the NFC's best

3.Denver Broncos-undefeated up to this point and have the #1 ranked defense in the NFL. The 6-0 record doesn't lie

4.Minnesota Vikings-only loss on the road at the defending Super Bowl Champs and played pretty well in that game. Vikes are a complete team.

5.Pittsburgh Steelers- the defending Super Bowl Champions knocked the Vikes off the ranks of the unbeatens and are showing why they won the SB last year.

6.New England Patriots- doing just what you'd expect from them. Still not the dominate team they were in the past but can get it done.

7.Cincinnati Bengals- are clicking on all cylinders right now. Offense is rolling,Palmer,Benson, and the WRs playing well and defense playing great. The surprise of the year handled a good Bears team real easily.

8.Arizona Cardinals- with a big road win over the New York Giants are starting to show last years NFC Championship run was no fluke. Defense is playing incredible and ranks #1 against the rush. To beat a great Giants team on the road is incredible.

9.Atlanta Falcons- lost 2 road games at Dallas and New England this year but is still a really good football team.

10.New York Giants-started 5-0 against weak competition and lost 2 straight to formidable opponents in the Saints(who they got clobbered by),and the Cardinals. May not be as good as we thought they were but still barely sneak in the top 10.

Georgia Tech beat Virginia 34-9
Rutgers beat Army 27-10

Colts beat the Rams 42-6

even my High School Football team which is garbage won 13-12 lol

2 legit gave me this idea

well im going to the colts patriots game on november 15th and i would love to get a football signed by some of my favorite players Nick Kaczur, vince wilfork wes welker, randy moss tom brady is there a way i can go talk to them or something?
i know i can ask them but how do i get down onto the feild to ask them?
or how do i get to where they will be

How is it gonna go this week ? Hopefully we see lots of action and some close games... I say GO COLTS !!! Who's your team?

where can i see the colts game online free?

Should I start Steve Smith from Carolina or Austin Collie from the colts

I would probably pull for Saints or Colts, maybe Pats.
How 'bout you?

Star* if you like football!
I know there a rival, but we have dominated them for the lat couple of years so I don't hate them lol.
@ rick it's the Arizona Cardinals
@ clint you switched, not cool bandwgoner.
@ zach I don't like Falcons but they are good, and wow I didn't think anybody would say Raiders.

In week 7 I have 2 running backs Fred Jackson who plays for Buffalo and is facing Carolina and has a total 59 points. But I have Joseph Addai who plays for the Colts and is facing St Louis and has a total of 54 fan points

QB: Drew Brees
RB: Thomas Jones
RB: Rashard Mendanhall
RB/WR: Calvin Johnson/ Brandon Jacobs
WR: Mario Manningham
WR: Miles Austin
TE: Zach Miller
D/ST: Broncos D
K: Colts Kicker

Rashard Mendenhall, or Clinton Portis?
Should i drop a WR (Manningham, Driver, Ochocinco, Moss & Mike Sims-Walker) or Defense (Colts, Ravens) for TJ Houshmandez, Austin Collie? Or should i not drop anyone

Unfortunately, the bye week is really screwing me over, as I have Chris Johnson, the Ravens D, Mike Sims-Walker, Kyle Orton and Nate Burleson on bye.

How do my starters look this week:
QB: Kurt Warner vs. NYG
RB: Ronnie Brown vs. NO
RB: Mike Bell vs. Miami
RB/WR: Marshawn Lynch vs. Carolina
WR: Johnny Knox vs. Cincinnati
WR: Miles Austin vs. Atlanta
TE: Heath Miller vs. Minnesota
Colts D vs. St. Louis
K: Ryan Succop vs. San Diego

Thanks!

I'm starting 3 RB's this week: Tomlinson vs Chiefs, Benson vs.Bears, and
either Mendenhall vs. Vikings or Jackson vs. Colts. Which one should I start?

I've been offered Matt Hasselbeck (QB- Seahawks) and Mario Manningham (WR- Giants) for Ben Roethlisberger (QB - Steelers). Do think this is a good trade for me? Some background: I already have Peyton Manning (QB - Colts) and the following WRs - Vincent Jackson (WR- Chargers), Marques Colston (WR - Saints), Steve Breaston (WR - Cardinals), Santana Moss (WR - Redskins) and Kevin Walter (WR - Texans). Thanks for you input.

My team: My Vick In A Box

QB: Ben Roethlisberger
RB: Ronnie Brown, Leon Washington
RB/WR: Wes Welker (Could swap for Hakeem Nicks or Johnny Knox if necessary)
WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Sidney Rice
TE: Heath Miller
DEF: Colts (Usually use Baltimore, but it's their bye)
K: Jason Elam

vs. Anquanimo Bay

QB: Drew Brees
RB: DeAngelo Williams, Ahmad Bradshaw
RB/WR: Vincent Jackson
WR: Dwayne Bowe, Miles Austin
TE: Dallas Clark
DEF: Vikings
K: Ryan Succop

The line has me down by 4, but what do you guys think can happen?

Here's my lineup:

Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco
Ronnie Brown, Ray Rice, Willis McGahee, Leon Washington
Larry Fitzgerald, Wes Welker, Sidney Rice, Derrick Mason, Santonio Holmes
I just dropped Chris Cooley for Heath Miller, I usually use the Ravens' Defense, but it's their bye and I'm substituting the Colts', and I've got Jason Elam at Kicker.

I feel like I need to step up the WRs, but who should I be looking to trade?
There's a guy in my league who really wants Ronnie Brown, but I don't know if I should give him up.

How is my fantasy football team? if you can predict, how far will i go in my division? I'm 4-2 in my division and it has 10 people including me.(Team is changed from last question)

Starters
QB - Tom Brady
RB - Marion Barber
RB - Jonathan Stewart
RB - Laurence Marroney
WB - Hinds Ward
WB - Randy Moss
TE - Jason Witten
D/ ST - Saints
K - Ryan Longwell

Bench

QB - Kyle Orton
WB - Derrick Mason
WB - Santana Moss
WB - Johnny Knox
RB - Darren McFadden
RB - Correll Buckhalter
D/ST - Colts
its a head to head league

I hate the CULTS so much. They have a p*ssy Quarterback who is nothing but a arrogant jacka*s who is afraid to take a hit. The CULTS are afraid to play in the Cold Weather so they choose to play in the nice cozy dome instead because they can't handle the cold weather. The CULTS fans are all bandwagoners, who only follow the CULTS because they have a Super Bowl ring. I can't wait for the CULTS to be exposed as the frauds they are and that shouldn't take much since they are nothing but a bunch of p*ssys. I friggin hate the CULTS more than any other team. Peyton Manning is soft and shouldn't even be playing Football. Screw the CULTS!

GO TEXANS! BLEEDING BLUE AND RED SINCE 2002
The CULTS hated playing in the cold weather so much that they had to rob Baltimore of their team. Some Class. The CULTS suck

Here's my situation: in my Yahoo fantasy football league we only have one QB slot. I drafted Peyton Manning (pure gold), Jake Delhomme for Peyton's bye week (which has already passed), and Jim Sorgi in case Peyton gets hurt.

I have Reggie Wayne as one of my WR, so I've obviously invested a lot in the Colt's offense. Now that Peyton's bye week has come and gone here's my question, should I keep Delhomme, Sorgi, or neither?

Keeping both of them no longer makes sense. If Peyton gets hurt, I could use Sorgi to replace him, but he may not perform as well. I could keep Delhomme instead, but he's Jake Delhomme. I could also look for another QB, but there aren't many quality QBs left.

What should I do?
Here's a small list of available QBs in my current league, as ranked by Yahoo :

Marc Bulger (StL)
Kerry Collins (Ten)
JaMarcus Russell (Oak)
Matthew Stafford (Det)
Kevin Kolb (Phi)
Byron Leftwich (TB)
Tyler Thigpen (Mia)
Chad Henne (Mia)
Josh Johnson (TB)
Seneca Wallace (Sea)

I was offered Ricky Williams and Leon Washington for Moreno and Brown.

I have a very deep team in a 12 person league and am currently first in points. The value for me is that Williams and Washington are very very good handcuffs who are almost starter worthy. The bad news is that I'm possibly giving up some huge upside in D. Brown and K. Moreno, although rookies tend to wear down come playoff time in my experience.

Here is my complete team:

QB Kurt Warner
RB Ronnie Brown
RB Thomas Jones
RB Knowshon Moreno
WR Desean Jackson
WR Marques Colston
TE Heath Miller
D/ST Broncos
K Mason Crosby

Bench:
QB D. McNabb
QB C. Henne (just picked him up for some possible playoff value)
RB D. Brown
WR J. Knox
WR. S. Breaston
WR TJ Houshmandzadeh
D/ST Colts
TE D. Keller

Here's the problem: I've always been a huge college football fan (I bleed Tennessee orange), however, when it comes to the pros, I've never really committed myself to one NFL team. Earlier this year I decided to do that. After a few weeks of thought and research I went with the Jets. There are many reasons for this, but mainly I chose the Jets because I am a big fan of Mark Sanchez. I've followed his career since USC and have always enjoyed the way he plays the game. So, since May I have been a Jets fan. Over the months I have fallen in love with the team, but there remains a problem.

As I stated earlier, I am a massive University of Tennessee fan. I was born in Knoxville and live for Vols football. So, naturally, I'm a big Peyton Manning fan and no matter how much I love the Jets, I can't cheer against Peyton and his Colts. This is a problem since they are both AFC teams.

What do you guys think. Will I regret not alligning myself with the Colts down the road? Just looking for opinions. Thanks in advance!
I should also add that I will likely have a hard time cheering against the Jets and have purchased a lot of Jets gear including a jersey...that makes things tougher.

Where might I be able to find little mini football jerseys, small enough to fit on a little Yorkie? My friends have a pet Yorkie and they think it would be adorable to dress her up in a little Colts jersey on Sundays, and I would like to get one for them, but have no idea where to even start looking.
Any help, or has anyone seen something like this anywhere? Thanks!

Here is my current line-up with my benched players, I need a little help at the WR/RB slot and just some general help. I don't know if this helps, but I am in a ten team league.

QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Leon Washington
RB/WR: Tim Hightower
WR: Reggie Wayne
WR: Vincent Jackson
TE: Heath Miller
D/ST: Jets/Colts (Made a claim)
K: Lawrence Tynes

Bench:
QB: Eli Manning
WR: Santonio Holmes
WR: DeSean Jackson
WR: Santana Moss
TE: Chris Cooley
D/ST: Giants

I am in my first fantasy football league, so I haven't finished a full season before. I have a good team, great team this last week (drew brees + randy moss + packers D = good start)

But, i am worried about some of my top producing players being completely useless in the championship round during week 16/17. Brees, for example. Looking at the Saints schedule, the Saints are likely to have home field throughout the playoffs wrapped up pretty early. Same with the Colts (Dallas Clark and Joseph Adai), at some point their position is going to be set and they are going to be resting starters. Sure, they will still score points, but if they aren't in for a full game, they won't score many even if they play well.

When do I start worrying about finding players through trade or waiver that are going to be playing meaningful games in week 16/17 (preferably against teams that have nothing to play for, perhaps the Titans, St. Louis, or KC)?

1. Saints (Drew Brees is on fire, defense is excellent)
2. Vikings (Brett Favre is playing well, plus Adrian Peterson)
3. Giants (Defense should rebound from embarrassment)
4. Colts (Would be higher but the lack of run game)
5. Falcons (I love the fact that they gave Matt Ryan Tony Gonzalez, and they also have Michael Turner)
6. Patriots (Tom Brady is back)
7. Steelers (Super Bowl Hangover?-Not this year)
8. Broncos (They don't have as much a secure lead as they want, they got a bye and then the Ravens, San Diego have the Chiefs and the Raiders)
9. Chargers(LaDainian Tomlinson showed me yesterday that he is not done, the chargers will fix their problems on defense, and they will take the AFC West)
10. Ravens (should be 4-2, Ray Rice is incredible)
11. Eagles (Andy Reid was, unbelievably, outcoached on Sunday, but he still maintains a strong team)
12. Bears (Redzone Problems: Fixable)
13. Bengals (Can't keep winning in the last seconds)
14. Packers (Good team but can't see them in the playoffs, Vikings will take the division, and there is too much competition for the wildcard)
15. Cardinals (The beautiful Warner-Fitzgerald connection is regaining its spark, look out)
16. 49ers (Mike Singletary has this team well-coached)
17. Jets (Rex Ryan will turn his young quarterback in the right direction, good defense as well)
18. Texans (Too inconsistent, you don't know what you are going to get)
19. Cowboys (Tony Romo is not playing well, inaccurate, who is his man? T.O. was a distraction, but he was a football player)
20. Jaguars (Another case of an inconsistent team, although when the good Jaguar team shows up, they are dangerous)
21. Panthers ( Delehomme is another QB that is not playing well, he is driving this football team down into the depths of the NFL)
22. Dolphins (The loss of Chad Pennington killed this team, Chad Henne has the skillset but lacks the experience)
23. Seahawks (Matt Hasselbeck can't stay healthy, Ceneca Wallace can't get it done when Matt's down)
24. Bills (If Trent Edwards can't make it back, this team is done)
25. Lions (With Mathew Stafford, the Lions are in the game)
26. Raiders (One of the best inconsistent teams, but they are also the worst)
27. Redskins (Just a huge disaster in Washington)
28. Chiefs (Matt Cassel was maybe a one year wonder in New England, haven't seen him produce as QB)
29. Titans (Just a bad situation in Tennesse, QB failures, players giving up, Jeff Fisher will probably end up next season coaching the Raiders, Jaguars, or Bills)
30. Buccaneers (Horrible offense, horrible defense, just horrible)
31. Browns (In my mind, they should be winless, no QB, old RB, trading away their two best recievers in Kellen Winslow and Braylon Edwards)
32. Rams (They have absolutely nothing going for them, offense or defense)

1.New Orleans Saints- they went out there and destroyed a Super Bowl contender in the Giants. Have also beaten the Eagles on the road this season. Playing the best football in the NFL right now and the offense doesn't look like it can be stopped

2. Indianapolis Colts- after 2 close games Week 1 they haven't been challenged by their opponents. Offense was on fire before the bye and is putting up huge numbers with the defense playing well as well.

3.Denver Broncos- Have gotten wins over the Patriots and Cowboys with a win on the road at a 4-2 Bengals team. They're 6-0 up to this point. No doubt they are a legit team and their defense is coming up big.

4.Minnesota Vikings- undefeated and a very well-rounded team. Have had some close calls but survived.

5.Atlanta Falcons- only 1 loss on the season in New England. The Falcons have been playing some great football and better than any 1-loss team right now. They can challenge the Saints in the division

6.New York Giants- fall to 6th after that debacle in New Orleans on defense. They looked really good first few weeks but played against week competition. Still a terrific team but last week got exposed on defense.

7.Pittsburgh Steelers- after a slow start the defending Super Bowl Champs are back and got Troy Polamalu back. You knew the Steelers weren't going to just fall apart. They're going to make a claim to defend their title again.

8.New England Patriots- everything went right for them in their 59-0 shallacking of the Titans. A much better team at home in Foxboro.

9.Cincinnati Bengals-despite a loss to the Texans have still played really well this season. One of there 2 losses was on a heartbreaking miracle play. Still have road wins at Green Bay,and Baltimore and defeated the Steelers at home as well. Losing Antwan Odom who has 9 sacks will be a killer though.

10.Chicago Bears-despite losing remain in the Top 10 barely over the Eagles had a loss to a far worse Raiders team. The Bears have played some great Football so far and had plenty of chances to win that game against the Falcons but just fell short. The Bears are contenders in the playoff race this year and finally found a QB.

What do you think of my rankings?

Okay so i recently started liking this guy who happens to be into NFL football. Much like myself, i love sports and i happen to be a Colts fan but my knowledge on the sport has me nervous that he will think i am dumb or not really that into it. Not the case. Just never had anyone to answer my quesions before. Id like to know more about:
Rules--->including major and minor ones..
OT rules
Which are the top 5 teams right now and why
And what all the positions on the team.

Thanks a bunch for any help :)

two teams many feel have alot of talent and are capable but are playing terrible football right now.

Redskins are a 2-4 team with losses to 3 winless teams and the easiest schedule so far in the NFL. There's no way any team in the NFL should be under .500 with that schedule they plaed.

The Titans losing a 59-0 to the Patriots was pathetic. No NFL should lose that bad and be down by 45 at halftime. This was the biggest blowout I've witnessed in the NFL. Also got beaten by 20+ in games against the Colts and Jaguars. That 13-3 record last season is looking more and more like the fluke I thought it was. Theyre an 0-6 tteam and already doubled last seasons loss total

who do you think is worse?

I currently have Matt Ryan as my QB and the Bears DEF starting this week, and it just registered that they are playing each other. should I try to pickup another D before tomorow. about the only viable options on waivers right now are the Panthers who play Tampa Bay, The Chargers who play the Broncos, or the Falcons who play, well the Bears. I guess the Falcons wouldn't be too bad if they had a good game all around that could pay off, but that's a big if. should I just ride it out and basically have the two cancel each other out. I am currently carrying 2 D's already. I have the colts on a bye, playing the Rams next week, so I don't really want to drop them just yet. any thoughts? Here is my lineup any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm just not sure what to do.

I Like Cowboys & Bears. (& Colts)

From what I've seen of Colt McCoy, I'm astonished that people think he's going to be first round quality starting QB in the NFL.

He's athletic, accurate and smart with the football, but how often does he complete passesm over 10 yards?

He never takes snaps from under center, has no idea how to read a defense and his team runs a system that makes the Texas Tech spread look like an NFL system.

Graham Harrell was twice the pro prospect that McCoy is, and Harrell's not good.

At very best, I think McCoy can be like Jeff Garcia or an athletic Chad Pennington if he spends enough time on the bench and practicing against the first team to get himself up to speed.

However, he has a borderline noodle arm, and arm strength is usually the difference between a bust and a boom.

Also, he plays against crappy Big 12 defenses.
I'll clarify what I meant by arm strength being a defining factor in immediate success.

Obviously you need more that just a rocket arm to succeed, and JaMarcus Russel and Bryon Leftwich are prime examples.

However, every QB thats had immediate success has a strong arm, much stronger than McCoy. Jay Cutler, Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez and Joe Flacco all have strong arms, which allows them to fit balls into windows which are MUCH tighter in the NFL than college, especially the Big 12.
And my Jeff Garcia/Chad Pennington comparison is his absolute ceiling/maximum potential, not necessarily how good I think he will be.

So, apparently Limbaugh is out as part of one of the groups trying to buy the Rams. The Union, the Colts owner, and even Goodell came out against him, along with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Strange that they don't allow Limbaugh to be part owner of a team, but they allow people like Dan Rooney, who probably spread his buttcheeks for Obama after the super bowl. The whole pink breast cancer awareness, the ref calling a penalty in spanish to honor hispanic awareness month, the stupid Rooney rule, where a team must interview a minority even if they already are set on hiring a white coach, the pathetic rules where nobody can hit anyone without a fine, and now this Limbaugh thing...it really bothers me. The NFL has changed, and not for the better. This is very disturbing and I would hate for a good product like football to lose popularity because a few idiots running the league can't get their act together.

afc cool nfc cool but i think the good players for afc is: Steelers,Chargers,Colts,Patroits, andim starting to like dolphins lol since they had a big win agianst jets at October 12,2009 and the cool NFC Teams are:Saints,Eagles,Giants,Cowboys and alot more so who do you think AFC or nfc remember all the teams and if you dont know which team is afc or nfc go to www.nfl.com :)

I need to pick up a QB to cover me over a bye week in week 7 but I have to let go a good player to do it. The best QB available is Chad Henne.

Out of Austin Collie (Colts), Thomas Jones (Jets), and Brandon Stockley (Broncos) who should I let go and who do you think is the most valuable?

The rest of my roster that I could let go is:
QBs-Kyle Orton and Matt Ryan
WRs-Steve Smith (Panthers), Antonio Bryant, Roddy White, Mike Sims-Walker, Sydney Rice, and Austin Collie
RBs-Adrian Peterson, Donald Brown, Marion Barber
TEs- John Carlson and Dallas Clark

here is my top 5 match up list

colts/giants- not as appealing as it was before since both of manning brothers has won a ring but still would make for good game.It would be a good game but i think the giants would pull it off

vikings/colts- favre vs manning would be another classic. I remember the first time these two faced each other and how it was a shootout for awhile. favre would sling it downfield and score and then peyton would do it better lol great game

broncos/bears- i am a bronco fan but i would love to see cutler stick it to them for what they did

Saints/Colts- Drew Brees vs Peyton Manning enuff said

Vikings/Steelers- Good ol smash mouth football game with two clutch qbs

I am coming in from out of town to watch the Colts-49ers game on November 1st. Are there any bars around Lucas Oil Field where you can eat and drink before the game. What time can they start serving beer?

Who would win ? and what would be the outcome (score)

Base your guess on skill alone and not your love for either team

Just trying to settle a bet

Every week I am going to save some time and post the asburd knee jerk comments we are bound to hear on this board.

1. The Patriots and Brady are back to being just an ok team this week.

2. Denver is superbowl bound!

3. Matt Hasselbeck is one of the best Qb's in football.

4. Miles Austin is headed for Canton.

5. There is litteraly no stopping the Colts.. they will go undefeated!

6. Cleveland and Buffalo are horrible... oh wait, that one is true.
A win is a win dude. The Cowboys outplayed the Giants and lost. You lose some ugly ones, you win some ugly ones. A win on the road is never easy.
